New Tiger safari is going to take your trip to another level which is for Shivpuri in Madhav National Park and Pachmarhi in Satpura Tiger Reserve. The initial clearance of the proposal is already done and now the turn is for the final approval from the Minister of Environment and Forest.
Two new tiger safaris are yet to be considered as the final approval has not yet come. After receiving the final approval, the translocation of tigers from Bandhavgarh, Kanha, and Satpura Tiger Reserves will take place at Shivpuri and Pachmarhi for the development of new tiger safaris. The Madhya Pradesh Forest Department explains that enclosures will be constructed at the proposed sites to house tigers, while separate enclosures will be constructed to improve wildlife activities and to enhance the prey base.
Madhya Pradesh is popular as a Tiger State as it has a huge population of tigers which is more than 526 in number all across 9 national parks in the state.
The State is loaded with the best tiger safaris at Bandhavgarh National Park, Kanha National Park, Pench National Park, Panna National Park, Sanjay Dubri National Park, and Satpura National Park. Bringing two more tiger safaris into the state will make a good difference in terms of wildlife tourism.
